BIKE REPAIR MENU IN WEST LOTHIAN

In addition to our wide array of guided activities as Uncharted Adventures, we are now offering cycle repair and servicing in the West Lothian area. Based in the village of Winchburgh near to Broxburn, Uphall, South Queensferry, Kirkliston and Linlithgow, we operate from a small purpose designed workshop in the village and can handle bike servicing and most common bicycle repairs.

Common repair WORK

Where repair work is undertaken, no other components will be checked unless directly related to the repair. Below is a list of common repairs and the typical labour charges associated with it. Note; neglected bikes or ones that have had a harder than average life may have additional labour such as a result of stuck parts which may not become apparent until working on the bike, but we will do our best to keep it reasonable and keep you informed before you incur significant additional charges. Unless indicated, parts will be extra.

If the repair you need is not listed, or you don't know your dropper post from your headset? No problem, just let us know what issues you are having and we can advise further.

Important note on Possible additional costs!

We like to be upfront with people so it is not hidden in the T&Cs! During the course of a service or job you have booked in, additional work may become apparent that is required for the safe and efficient operation of the bike. Typically it is low value consumable items, like cables and brake pad replacements, that are the common additional costs.
In order to balance the various needs of efficiency at our end, not unnecessarily delaying your bike repair, alongside not wanting to bother you for approval for small costs, whilst leaving you comfortable that you wont need to be sitting down when the invoice comes in.
Any additional work (parts and labour) identified will be carried out as follows:
  • Additional costs up to £35 - No prior customer approval sought.
  • Additional costs over £35 - Estimate provided for your approval.
Note: By booking in your bike for any work you agree to this policy, unless agreed otherwise before work commences.
